hmm.. finally got to travel slightly further this time, took me like 1hr30mins to reach chatswood! Haha well it was worthwhile... got to meet my little sis May at her workplace. I could see in her eyes she was so dead tired when i met her after work, i felt bad dragging her along to watch a movie with me cause i've been so damn bored this whole week cause everyone else are studying for their mid term exams which i dun have!! hahahaha

Seems like a nice place to go during the day, lots of shops and cafes to go to and SHOP! Hopefully once i get my car i will do there!

its been a while since i did some serious shopping! Everything is so expensive, kinda looking for a really nice v neck sweater or pull over, but all the nice ones are so expensive... =(

We watched 'Meet the Robinsons' at Hoyts, which is like the Golden Village of australia (i think), pretty good movie, damn funny. I like the T-rex part!! haha go watch it!!! Ooo and i like the ending too, where they explain Disney's philosophy "... We keep moving forward..."

The film ends with a quote from Walt himself:

"We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."

It really got to me that, what ever happens in life, any failures is actually a learning process, you do not stop there and continue moving forward till you reach your goal.

Customisng my Havaianas!

I just bought myself a pair of plastic rubbery / cheaply mass produced / boring 2 piece slipper or aussies call it thongs - like what my little sis told me (Thong - a shoe or slipper fastened to the foot chiefly by a strip of leather or other material passing between the first and second toes and often attaching to another strip of material, as a strap across the instep or around the ankle), that cost me $18.95!!! Its call a Havaianas, woAh??! guess 80% of the price goes to the brand name alone. Think i'm somewhat a brandwhore... and since one of my favourite colour is black... guess wad!? i bought a black pair of havainas... woAh??!

Hahaha i dunno why i sound so lame now but wad the heck, so since its so boring / mass produced / commonly seen in Sydney... i decided to add some of my magic touch to it!! Muahahaha... wad a way to waste 20 bucks rightaway!! As you can see, i'm still half way thru it... So if anyone feel it looks bad... please tell me before i finish the whole pair!!!

Marker Rendering and Shape Shifter Drawing

Woo.. Finally got to learn how to do marker rendering!! Kinda fun but its damn hard and troublesome to get the final product. Did two examples below, still looks kinda fake though. Hopefully i'll have more time to practise and get better! Stay tune...!! =)















The next drawing i think its my favourite one so far, but its still kinda incomplete. I kinda run out of ideas to fill my the empty spaces. Its a freaking A1 size drawing and it took me hell long to just like complete 3/4 of it. So hopefully i get more creative juices pumped into my pathetic brain soon. Hopefully before the deadline!!

hmm the week after Easter break holidays... Nothing much actually happened... Finally got over and done with my marketing presentation on Virgin Blue. Haha we were suppost to come out with a new marketing strategy for this imaginary company, and i came out with this erratic idea of a Travel 10 pass for aeroplanes. Like the ones we use here in sydney for buses. Haha and so our company name? www.AirTravel10.com

HAhAhahAa... OMG its so dumb but wad the heck...

Then i finally manage to borrow the dvd box set of The OC season 2 from my little sister May, who is also in the same marketing group as me. Still cant believed she actually called me gordon korkor. (i feel so old now) Haha anyway thanks alot... can i borrow season 3 from u now? Since i like watched finished the whole season 2 in like 3 nights. HEeezz... Coach Potato!

Woo yeah finally got a mircowave, special thanks to YiMing. Time to stock up on mircowave ready meals!! hmm finally got to sit in YiMing's Death Mobile... haha i guess as quoted from Koji, the decomposing car... but hey at least it beats taking the stupid sydney buses.

Busy,Hectic,Fun,Eventful,Tiring,Fun Week!

Woo its been hell of an Easter Week for me, Recap on wad happened so far...

Monday & Tuesday was for me to catch up on my assignments and playing dota also... haha

Wednesday! Played Soccer for Singapore Students Association in some asia games organzied my UNSW. Was told to be at the field by 0830hrs, woke up at 7am, rushed down, realized i was the only one there... NBZ!!! Finally at around 9plus, most of our team members arrived, started playing only at like 10am. As usual i played in goal, haha and we managed to get 2nd!!! Pretty cool day, got to meet somemore singaporean in sydney. The games ended like around 4.30pm,i realised..

FUCK i'm late for Koji's film premiere screening of 'The Dealer'. Rushed home like mad, bath, changed and took a cab down straight to the screening. OMFG the taxi fare cost 25 bucks!! Fucking expensive la... the ride was like from Orchard rd to Suntec only lah!!! )!@&*&^*(!#%&*(!!!!! but luckily it was all worth while, managed to show my support for Koji's film and it was a damn good one too! GO KOJI!! Be the next Eric Khoo!! haha... Saw Johanna there too who's also the president of SSA.. so surpised she actually remembered and recoignise me... Heez... After the movies, johanna was so kind enough to let me tag along with her as she was going down to meet johnny and the rest at the basketball court, which i was supposed to go too! She even asked me to drive her car, coz she was too lazy to take off her heels... omg it was like almost 5inchs high lah! haha.. how can anyone walk in those!?? Coolness... got to drive a VW golf for the first time...

Thusday! Basketball time!! So damn tired.. but wad the heck!! haha its the holidays man!! met up with the guys at Kingsford Meccas(aussi slang for Macdonalds). Drove down to the courts at some super uber ulu place. Wooo! INDOOR BASKETBALL COURT!!! Shiok sia!!! And we managed to get 2nd place!! again!! haahaa... After basketball, we heading for lunch at La Perous, where the most sway thing happened! My friend Johnny's car died on the highway,wa lao got so sway anot! we were stranded there for like since 3.30pm to 8pm... omg really once in ur lifetime experience... alot of shit things happened in between those times, which i will not go into details because its just down right swayness all the way. Johnny called like all this 're enforcements' down to help but to no avail. Finally we decided to just leave the car there and tow it in the morning. Cool part was i got to finally sit in a R32 skyline on our way back!!! wah!! i so want to buy that car!!! hahaa...!! My dad will prob kill me if i did!! Heez... When to makan at KFC before we finally called it a day... reached home 1030pm... Phengz...

The Kid goes to the City!

WEeee... Finally found a kaki to go downtown with. Met up with my armymate Tze Shen who was also studying at UNSW too, which i realized only during one of the pre-departure launch back in Singapore, haha the world is really that small!

Managed to make my way downtown with a bus that cost $3.90!! From now on i shall never ever complain again about how expensive singapore transportation cost...

Met up with him to go jalan jalan at Paddy's Market, which is like the Chachuchak of Sydney. Fake soccer jerseys, pasa malam clothes and etc etc. I even saw a vcd stall that looks exactly like those shops u see in JB. Upstairs of Paddy's Market is a whole floor of factory outlets from mambo to CK jeans. Did a little shopping and got a nice shirt from Cotton On for just $15!!

After that we met up with a few other friends to catch 300 at the IMAX theather. and it was awesome!! Great show, ultra mega huge screen, superior sound quailty, the only downside? it cost $19 for a ticket. But wad the heck, its been awhile since i last pampered myself!















After the show, we walk to chinatown for dinner. Saw this drink stall there that was selling one of singapore's favourite desert but with a twist! haha

the fun part was only at the last day, 23rd Feb, Friday.

O - Stock Festival!! O-week Final Party featuring Youth Group
Although i spend the whole day running around like mad trying to find a place to stay, i still managed to squeese time to go check out the party.

The opening band was sucky, down right sucks. The sound techinician kinda fucked up the whole thing, and i didnt know wad the heck they were playing, luckily after that when Youth Group started playing it got better.

Cheap beer, great music, good looking crowd, Hmmm....

I'm starting to like this place already. =D

STill alive in Sydney!

WOo...!! Everyones been telling me to get a blog.. so wad the heck.. here it is for all u ka po people! haha...

Ok recap time, Arrived Sydney on the 4th day of CNY!! Yeah! Managed to get as much ang pow as i can first before i left! Thanks for all the well wishes and ANG POWs! haha

The flight to sydney was alright, managed to catch three movies on board! yeah and the food wasnt so bad after all. Touched down Sydney Airport, Holy shit!! Fu*king long immigrations and quarantine queues. omfg i almost died there.

Manage to crawl thru that area and step out of the airport. Got a bus down to my lodge, finally able to unpacked and headed down to my school.

I spend the first 2 weeks living out of that hotel cause the real estate situation in Sydney now is totally CRAP!! There is not a place around uni available for rent!! So after much searching and out of total desperateness, finally had to settle for a place in Matraville, which takes 30 mins to get to UNSW by bus. DAMN!

As you can see from the pictures, my room is a real shit hole now. but hey! beats living in a hotel. My living room is totally bare still, just 2 broken sofas me and my roommate found by the street.

School really sux! I was so lost for the first few weeks. Didnt know wad the hell the lecturer was talking about and the library is just briliant!! Missing books, Books misplaced, blah blah blah. Workload is a killer, i think i choose the wrong school!!! BLAH!!

Ok enough writing...
